Klimabonus payouts for the year 2023 will begin in autumn 2023 and will be completed by mid 2024. In particular, people who only registered their main residence in Austria in the first half of 2023 will receive the Klimabonus in spring 2024.

We apologise that we are unable to provide information on the order of the payments and the time of the payments in individual cases.

Note:

The Klimabonus service team cannot update or correct your bank details and residence registration data; this can only be done by the competent authority.

  • FinanzOnline: You can enter your current bank details here.
  • Meldebehörde: You can register any change of your main place of residence with your local municipal office (Gemeindeamt) or your municipal district office (Magistrat), as well as digitally.
